ABOUTJ.V. Kelly, or Joe if you'd prefer, is the author of Wox; his first novel. He is a retired railwayman who worked out of Leeds as a train conductor. Joe was born in Dublin in the early 1950's but was brought up and schooled in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, where he still lives. Joe wrote Wox in his early 30's and then placed the manuscript in a drawer for thirty odd years. At the age of 65 he revisited his manuscript and decided to publish, with the help and experience of his nephew Craig P. Kelly.
This novel is set in the early 1980s against the background of foxhunting in the New Forest. Hunt saboteur Mike Sanders has a spark of an idea that quickly grows into an obsession. He hopes to put a spotlight on the plight of the fox; his goal is to outlaw foxhunting in Great Britain. But will the road to good intentions end in disaster?
This book is not for the faint-hearted as there is violent sexual content, but the story will keep you enthralled and turning pages to the very end.
